Taking photos from the beach 5m wtf I can't see too many places handling this swell.

5.1 is huuuuuge

wondering what size waves would you expect on that

we have 2.1 on willyweather today which is about 4-5 foot waves

straight E to thats gunna be insane

Noosa will be the only place imo,the swell direction will sweep past and it will be half the size getting into the points.
Snapper into coolie but only for the super fit,the sweep will have you at Southport in no time.

There will be a few spots to hit Big Spazz.....lets hope that the wind behaves itself. Looks like the swell will come a long way south. I have a few days booked off already

What's happening up there, is the swell cranking yet ?

Saw the pics of the floods on the news from north qld is there an upside of waves ?

Still very small atm,should pick up tomorrow,I think I'll get wet on Saturday before the monster arrives.

The way its looking Saturday will be my max out and Sunday over the top. I've got UFO fever coming on.[}:)]

Yeah looks like a massive system , hope you get the waves and not the floods .

One of the weather gurus down here was saying if our luck holds out we might even get the tale end of the rain to put out the fires out !

seriously the swell direction reads ene. i can't see anywhere on the goldie liking that especially at that size.
