Thanks again for all the input.

After more research and visting a couple of shops in Newcastle (all very helpful and patient) I made a decision.

Today I went to Sandbah Surf Shop - again, and bought a 9' 1" EVOII.

This afternoon at Catho I had a few waves with the best wave count I have had todate and got to feel the excellent response and wave riding characteristics of this board.

Hopefully I will get a little more surfing in tomorrow

Good to hear, nothing better than a new board you're happy with straight away.
You would have got some nice waves this morning?

Had some more on water time today.

For me its like I am born again (ie lots of years since being on a LB) it just does what I want and I feel confident with late take offs.

I have a couple of photos of the board and will post tomorrow.

As guys recommended to me it is a board to go to but being fair there may be other boards as good - well may be.

As a good all rounder with performance charasticistics in our local surf conditions its working for me. But more experienced surfers may have other comments.

All that matters I am very happy.
