my 6'4" is a CI POD - not sure of the volume - but its loads! It paddles almost as good as my 5'10" and thats a Firewire Sweet Potato which comes in at 42 on their website from memory. I could definitely ride both boards smaller but like volume as I like catching lots of waves and making life easy!!!! I normally surf beachies most of the time so it makes life easy. If I was back living at Raglan I would have something a lot different!!! I also have a 6'10" for when its gets bigger.

Thanks Ted, think youve convinced me to go down the shorter more volume path, nearly ordered a webber CD type board this morning, so hard to resist ordering a new one when at the shapers. Going 6'4 maybe even 6'2 but plenty of volume not sure yet but looks like being about 22 wide, maybe a touch under 2 3/4 thick.

Any comments on bottom type? Looking at a bit of concave in the nose and probably just a bit of V in the tail?

Will be like http://www.webbersurfboards.com/Compact_Disc.html
Thanks
