Well that didn't go to plan.

The supplier just emailed me saying era in stock control on web store.

I have rang Surfstitch before with what i wanted, asked if they could match someone else's price. Last time they immediately offered me a one off 20% discount and i paid considerably less.. Cant hurt to ask..

I can vouch for the short leg long arm 2mm springy! I'm on the south coast of WA and the water isn't that cold so my legs are fine, and my chest and arms are warm enough in 2mm. I've got the Attica and it's a chest zip and I reckon it's not as restrictive in movement as a back zipper (and I'm a barrel chested)

Short John with a long sleeve rashie under.

If its a bit colder I use a short sleeve rashie under the long sleeve rashie.

That's all this old boy needs.

You cannot do rehab on a injury. Once the injury is fixed then you can begin rehab. So what has the doctor told you is wrong after all the scans you have had?

Torn meniscus ,by rehab I mean strengthen the knee and leg which speeds recovery if surgery is not required.

Now Lacey nice edit mate

There is of course varying degrees to an injury even under the same definition of said injury. It took a long time for me to surf without constantly re-injuring my miniscus tear based on a non operative situation. But I was surfing beachies & in the prime of life with a mindset to constantly hit the lip...surgery is not always beneficial with knees & best done when required...I would first, take it easy as in not push it while strengthening the knee based on recommendations from a physio/DR. Follow those insrtuctions not pushing it...always good to get more than one opinion from non internet experts too haha

Wishing you a smooth recovery Mac...just don't push it mate

Well that makes no sense unless you are your own dr mac. To try and build strength in a fresh injury is crazy.

Good luck with it all mac and i hope you get wet soon

No self doctoring I was told to build strength/ exercise around the injury which creates more blood flow, the more blood flow the faster the recovery but saying that I've had no improvement in a week now.

What continuously stuffed me up was thinking I was good to go coz I was able to walk without a limp. Returning to the surf & reinjuring myself...thats why my 2c worth is taking it easy & not pushing yourself. When you can walk a good distance on uneven ground your about there & then take it easy in the surf coz it takes a long time for most people...a knee leggy would be much safer also if your a natural footer, so you don't have the leggy pulling your leg in the wrong direction. Good to hear its feeling better mate

Thanks Mick,oh I'm far from getting ahead of myself here, the pain has decreased a tab so at least I think I'm on the mend,I also used a machine that vibrated in a range of different modes at the gym, standing on one leg its tricks the muscles in thinking your on uneven ground.I'll be taking it easy.

Have you had an MRI Mac. Only way to know how bad the tear is. Unlikely it will heal by itself. Most need surgery to fix.

I did mine about 2 months ago. Don't judge it on the pain some days I can run others I can't even walk and mine is completely torn in need surgery. I'd say go see a orthopaedic surgeon and get them to tell you how to fix it.

keep Stretching your quads and hamstrings. Won't help repair it but does help stopping your leg from locking up.

Think it was surfing close outs and doing floaters. I was the same as you. busy, so didn't get it looked at straight away but saw the doc last week and will be getting surgery.

I was shot for about month, couldn't walk without pain. Then it came good and the pain went away for a few weeks but locked up again this week. Still been Surfing when it feels ok just been strapping it up, can't really do any more damage to it. Worse out come is it it completely locks up and I end up on crouches for a while before the op.

You are not putting weight on the knee when on a bike.

And your original dr is a hack

Should have come here first
