The Good, the Bad and the Fugly

It was a good couple of days for sure

Good
All meeting up at Crescent at about the same time on Thursday morning and getting in for the first sesh together.

Bad
Working so hard to get a few in the first session before I had the place worked out.

Good
Finally getting a couple with faces I could work on.

Good
Sucking down coffee afterwards with the boys and talking a load of BS

Good
Going in for an arvo sesh with Vanders and giving the Pup a good camera with specific instructions to get some good shots of us.

Good
Working my tits off trying to do as many cutbacks as possible right in front of the Pup, in a very low tide, with more protruding rocks than I have haemorrhoids sticking out of my arse hole, just so he can get a pic of me.

Bad
Looking at the pics Pup took after the sesh and discovering that all he was doing was taking about 49 pics of some chics arse, sitting out the back while he was pretending to take our pics. Thanks ya bugger, I risked life and limb, hope you at least got a bit of a chubby

Good
Flathead and chips on Thursday night. A lovely sub $13 Merlot that we all enjoyed, good company, good conversation, good laughs and an early night.

A nice drive down the coast on Friday morning while we waited for a better tide .

Good
A great little morning sesh with a few 300 meter + rides with some face to work on. Watching one lady on a log with the poise and grace of a ballerina, taking ownership every wave she caught. She was so good I would stop paddling out and just sit up and watch her if she got a good one. One time I even applauded her when she got back out, she looked embarrassed, but credit where credit is due, she was just good to watch.

Bad
Vanders little girl getting sick

As bad as Ross River is, we were all worried that it could be something worse

Before it's brought up out of context, some photos may indicate a drop in but it's not as clear as it may seem.

OBCT may need a name change to 'King Brown' as my recollection of the events (in my mind anyway) involve some 'snaking' even after the call of 'Party Wave', a lesson had to be taught and OB was educated in the art of rock weaving. I can report he graduated with no damage to himself or his board.

Actually, I'm not real concerned about his self declaration of "party Wave" and I can live with the snaky accusations, but his decision to execute a cutback when we're 2 feet apart and there's a sh!tload of rocks just 3 meters to my left is probably something that will take me a little longer to come to terms with

Since my stomach operation, I have more than enough problems controlling my bowel movements, I don't need a 10 foot sweet love to assist
