Ok Mac I will bite. Who is 'Grace' ? Excuse my ignorance- being a short boarder 95% of the time I like the glass job and triple stringer. The person holding the board looks vaguely familiar

He cetainly is very graceful and a good bloke at that

Good to see it took a shortborder to bite first Ted this is a longboard forum right sometimes I have to have a second look.

Grace is a new model dedicated to the trim,board starts from 10.6 and only goes up,clear triple stringer and glassed on fin.

Board covers for boards over 10'6" seem hard to come by. Any tips?

Ty McHenry and Leashless. I live 20kms from creatures HQ and they used to make everything there and could customise. Since outsourcing, they don't even have one sewing machine on site.

probably a very good imitation or should we say interpretation of the original. Bob no doubt makes a great surfboard and has probably forgotten more then most blokes would ever know so not exactly like he is knocking it off but raises an interesting point, where does copying start and end and what is let's say taking inspiration from..

Should all 3 fin thruster be made by Simon? Of course not.

IMO there are few individual ideas that shaped the way surfboards are and The rest are just someone's take on something some one has already done.

All shapers pinch bits and pieces from here and there and a good experienced shaper should be able to make nearly anything you ask for so IMO copying by a shaper is ok and part of the industry.

Scanning someone's board by a company and mass producing it is not, the Tak scorpion has gotta be the most knocked off board i have seen.
