Sighted today at makorori beach...towball with an eclectic array of boards on his rack & not a paddle in sight. It was the 12 foot mickey munoz that was his board pick of the day. And yes I did chuck some apples at him & mark

Bloody hard to take pics when its' still dark , been surfing the Redline for two weeks , so as I don't look like a complete dick , properbly will anyway .
Last time I did this comp I drew Chris Ransley first round Google him

I have the redline 9x6x23x3 rack board and its better than the custom fireball that I got made.Mind you I only ride either of them on point waves.

Actually google is a bit vague conncerning chris ....but he is a surfing master with stylee footwork & manouvres....sort of like the Joel Tudor of Gisborne but with an impressive surfing heritage going back to the early days of surfing in giz

Why would you enter a surfing contest I wonder? I get the "free beer" motivation & the "wonderfully pretty women watching me fall off my board" thing.
I guess its like part & parcel of the mystery of life & creation & the "we are stardust" point of view
and always a major bummer if you are up against chris ransley lol
