Shapers are not so important with the development of shaping machines ,
APS 3000 would be amongst the best shaper .

What boards has it designed?

Who puts the number in the machine..
Or designs the board that goes in it.
Or listens to feedback from people about about improving stuff.

Machines give a close tolerance shape but they still need to be finished or designed in the first place.

I've got two Egan's, never had an MR which growing up in Newie should be classed as a mortal sin.

Both Egan's corkers in their day, a single fin 6'0 round pin with usual browning and glass cracks. The other is one of the first thrusters he messed around with that was used by Luke in comps early 80's, also a great board in it's day but fickle to the conditions and hangovers.

Never ridden any of the others but would love a Will Webber 6'10 Dugong for an old bloke, very similar to Greg's Double Diamond but with a bit more of the Creature curves embedded.

Ghosts are in the top ten?....they must be because they finish shape the majority of boards.

Surfboard designers?
In no order
McCoy MitchellRae Webber Tomo followed by a cast of hundreds that tweak Simon's designs.
Lots of experimentors but very few innovators....

Lonboard designers?...they've passed.

I'm all over the place with my boards, I have many but purchase each & every one on bang for buck. My SB high performance is a DHD Ducks Nutz & my small wave is a Bali made $300 3 year old board thats seen a few countries as my backup small wave board. Longboards for me are a goto for summer & small wave fun.

Considering this was posted in the longboard department....I would say Steve Del Rosso is beyond worthy of mention
