nah. i reckon this is a good move mac. i watched you from the beach a couple of times when you were out on the sunset, you know those micro days.

there just wasn't enough board to enable you to get up early and have the board up and trimming .

this cruiser should get you up and going and you'll be able to enjoy those days like i do/can on my dark side boards.

the motto for those days is get a stack of waves as quick as you can then get out of the water

Do you come up with an idea - a nose from here, a tail from there, a rocker from where ever - and then Bob makes a model from it?

Seems like every other board you get is a new model we've never seen before.

No mate not really,what I've been doing is searching for perfect boards for my local break.The Splice is perfect but now I wish it was a tab thinner still my fav' board atm.
The new one is a ufo with evo2 rocker = flatter,paddle speed and drives nice down the line and turns on a dim.I run these types of boards with Dave and BW and ask for input,so far they have agreed that I've been on the money.The new cruiser as Lacey mentioned will be a wave pig board and the Sunset is just too hard to handle with the square tail,I got the dims wrong on this one tho and big mother single fin,not my cup of tea.,

When is it due?

Is the art a different version of the sunset?

Due mid Feb that's what I was told on order date.

looking at the tail on the mac site and mac sketches aren't too far of the mark, its really pulled in late the last foot and really straight in the tail. seems like it another template from another board. a one fang fang tail

it looks odd and doesn't seem right, but i imagine there is a reason.

mac in fifty words please explain to us laymen the reason behind this tail plane shape.
