reckon Wal lifted himself another 30% above even another level in those origin games - just my opinion.
Steve Mortimer was a NSW feller who could do something like that too

Colin Scott get that up ya NRL fans

I reckon Andrew Johns should get it. He's done it all and is still amongst the best defensive and ball playing halfbacks ever and he kicked goals. He's had his f@ck ups but he's only human.
As for Wally I've grown to like him over the years and I like his commentary. I'll never forget that front on hit he put on that Kiwi player all those years back. Just stopped him dead.

Daryl Williams I think his name was - played for Manly at the time. It's still the biggest one on one hit I've seen to date. Then followed up with the no mercy drop on top of him when he's flat out pushing daisies.

he has said he would not have been able to get through the stress without drugs. so same as being on the roids to be bigger faster stronger, just in johns case he neede drugs to enable him to use and control his brilliance. bit like me trying to bull**** women on a friday night sober,i know where he is coming from, i too needed something/lots to help unleash the sexual tyranosauras that the ladies are now accustomed too

Leading to what sp is saying - not to be discussed on public forum but he needs to pull his head in if he gets it. This is the reason I wouldn't award to anybody under 50.
