The only good Sup surfers I see are barely 65kg and carve it up but it makes me wonder why they just don't use a short board and ditch the paddle.
Sorry to offend anybody but 666 in the surf is embarrassing.

i watched the same one....i hate those sh1tty dish pan turns when he could at least try a cutback...

anyway its always a brave thing to do,to post yourself on the net.. so good on him...

totally agree. I cant stand short supping.

10foot or nothing.

however someone posted this next door last week. a bit slow to start but the guy is good and finishes with he surfing some decent waves

Saturday afternoon when must punters gave up hope and packed up some of us knew it was going to turn on.
As I paddled.one Jackson Close was on a 10 foot board and his moves were so smooth,hanging 5 and 10's with paddle in hand.About 30 mins
later he left the paddle on the beach and on the same board put on the show of all shows.

Shortboard 666 surfing sucks but it goes to another level on the bigger boards.

Yes a long 666 rode with style is nice to see. But it's not often I see them. JC is one of those. Casso shows promise - he should do more of it in better quality longboard suited waves.

Im a week away from a surf. New 9ft leggie for the 10 fter. They are always longer then what they say.

Is it early too wax up the 10 fter

You could do the best wax job ever in that time with ruler straight criss cross patterning...that always looks cool
