Will do.

The only uncertainty is getting "free-lance" internet access. I'm sure it will be fine at the hotel... I only need free access wi-fi, so I can connect the computer photos to internet. Phone pics can't be posted direct to Seabreeze.

Worst case, updates upon return... I'm taking my "off-company-license" mobile wi-fi device also. But I would need a Japanese mobile-phone-data "sim card" inserted into it. It's a Telstra device, but it's small and I'm taking it just in case it is useful... But I'm sure I can plug in at the hotel for those 12am drunk rants! 2am for the east coast!

You will be able to pick one up the airport as you get off the plane on a pre-paid type setup. They work a dream. Also away from the prying eyes of your work so you can send them all through to Chrispy and he will only upload suitable family images I am sure

Saw some Japanese high school girls on the work. I think the two of them were in uniforms, and not dress up clothes?

Just had the building induction. Revolved around earthquakes and tsunamis. I have a little emergency kit at work in an orange bag... a hard hat, gloves and a torch!

Lucky you have the orange bag Simo I have read that they are the best safety device when 10,000 tons of concrete comes crashing down on your head

In the orange bag you will find the instructions for an earthquake

1. Remove all sharp objects from clothing
2. loosen tie and belt
3. Place head between legs.
4. Kiss your arse hole goodby

My immediate work crew is a small team from Singapore, and whilst they are all great people, and good workers, I fear they are a little bit too square for after hours entertainment... we will wait and see.

I remember when I was younger, on a Rome (Italy) work junket, and the 40+ year olds lead the way on how to party! In fairness, those English & Scottish BP boys did set the bar very high that Summer.

There's a few Aussie blokes in the office too, but from what I've seen and heard so far, they are mostly long termers over here with wife and kids...

Tempura for dinner tonight, with a long neck of Asahi. Mmmm.
Got a big can of Asahi while I get ready to go out.
I noticed a steep rise in gorgeous local girls tarted up tonight.

Back in the room after a day out in Tokyo exploring... Went to find a KTM dealer, for a look, but they have moved that dealership! Damn Google Maps, not up to date. FU Google. At least the Ducati Store was still there!

Just a cracked an Asahi, and flicked on the telly and it's WWE wrestling, and the chicks are on... There's a chick called Kelly Kelly, and she's hot!

Nothing too exciting to report yet. Keen for a surf. Might have to drop into the Patagonia store and try and get the low down on the best way to hook up for a surf next weekend.

Tokyo is a pretty nice place though, just lacking easy access to some quality point breaks!

Asahi buildings;

Gold One - Asahi Office, designed to look like a massive glass of beer! Gold!
Black one on the right with a massive gold "drop" on the roof - that's the Asahi museum or something... A massive drop of beer on the roof!

Skinny tower on the left is the new Tokyo 'SkyTree'. 634m tall, a bigger version of CentrePoint in Sydney. Tokyo has a smaller one also, called Tokyo Tower which is more like CentrePoint.

Yeah Lacey, the beer is good!
Scotty, I'm here for 5 weeks in total. 6 week stint, but one of the girls from Singapore swindled a week off for everyone, when we go home and work from our normal office... My normal office is close to Bells! So the 6 weeks is 3+1+2. The middle "1" being the home week.

Anyone care to guess what that thing would look like if they painted it brown?
