The Swedish boat had a aussie skipper but that bugger all consultation cause the kiwis just rolled them.

Not sure - there was a challenge from Oatley family - think Wild Oats 11, Sydney to Hobart stuff.
Fell over in 2014 I think - these things consume eye watering amounts of money.
The whip around in the bar at Hamilton Island Yacht Club couldn't cover things....

I'm only a newbie think I started here in 2010 or 11 and it's fair to say
the Long room is farkd these days.
could be the new format
could be we've delved into everything surf
maybe it's all teds fault.

Bloke does get crazy busy, I've met him a few times on holiday & he's telling me how he's woken up in the middle of the night & worked on some thingo he's done...always slotting stuff in between surfing/socializing.

Have never really understood what he does exactly...but I'm sure it will settle down & he will be on the scene again. I suspect this is a result of his downtime due to his illness, after being at his home away from home coupled with a direct need for his services...

I must have missed something here,I've never seen Ted abused he has always been well respected by all, or I've missed something.

I just think when someone said that Ted is super busy is total BS.
