Thats good news. I always wear expensive sunnies and tend to eventually just change as they normally last and i never lose them. I had a pair of Raybans that the lens snapped a few months out of warranty. I wanted them sent back and the girl at the shop argued against it. I paid for the freight and I wasn't surprised when a brand new pair arrived two weeks later.

I wear mine everyday for work on and off non stop, never lose them, but they get well worn..

Bought a pair of Police over a year now and very happy with them. Although not a glass lens so have a few small scratches.

My wife wears M Jims but i never had a good run with them personally , i tend to sweat a bit and the plastic pieces just always rotted for me, but they would be one of the best lens out their, especially on the water..

I tend to agree with JBShack.... the more you spend on a good pair of Sunnies, the more you will take care of them.
I spent $300 on a pair of Persols in 2013. If you've seen photos of Steve McQueen advertising sunnies, or watched Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations, you've seen Persol sunnies. They're very, very good frames and lenses.
I've since bought a second pair. One now has my script lenses as multifocal transitions, the other has standard script polarised tint. They fit, they suit my gob and I always keep them in their case or on my head.

Before this lot, I had RayBan or VonZipper. The only reason I don't have the VonZippers is that they blew off in the wind in a ski-boat. I still have two sets of RayBans, a Maui Jim, Oakley and even a pair of non-branded sunnies my father in law brought out from Germany in 1956.
Life's too short to wear rubbish sunnies.

Haha McHenry... I have this thing.... I like collections. Unlike Macaha and SurfAnimal who have hoarding issues worse than mine .........I don't have room for 30 surfboards, so I only have three. A Diverse 10'1" a Wayne Deane 9'4" and a McTavish Grace 10'6". The Diverse is the go to, the Grace is for quiet days when I'm feeling mellow. The Wayne Deane is used the least so is now the loaner. Two are in the bus at any given time, because I don't have space for three in the shed. But, I still like collecting things. That's why I have a collection of Sunnies, Hawaiian surf shirts and odd hats. I have the room for them.

If you come visit, I'll let you borrow my spare sunnies, and perhaps a coonskin hat or a pith helmet, and ride my Wayne Dean, maybe even Grace if you ask her nicely, but I'm not sellin' any. They all have a special place, much like a photo does, they help me remember stuff that happened.

Buy some good quality sunnies, look cool, and create some memories.....
