The call is that it's picked up a little bit more than expected !!

Might be semi-fullish early on the high tide, but that should suit the logs and keep the crowds thinner!

Vander's,
I was waiting for my wettie to drip dry a bit before putting it in Mac's spotless car! Then when baged and racked the boards, and I left my wettie behind !

Did you spot it? We must have reversed over it !

At least it was only the shorty that was a few years old. Plus we have a big selection of 2nd's wettie's in Torquay.

Enjoyed a few of the long waves though!

I'm not guaranteed for tomorrow yet. The wife is just working out gym times right now. It's a family holiday, so I can't clock up too much surf time!

Seaworld was worth while this morning. The little guy loved it.

Looked like the surf was on again this morning.

Well what a morning,it started earlier than I like for a Sunday but hey when asea wants to catch up I'll be there.

7.30 paddled out and asea was already out there,he was on his Evo 2 what a great board and asea had the thing wired with some nice moves and very long rides,we sat at LM and picked up what we wanted, there were not many out maybe too early and cold for the weekend warriors. We got the best of it and it dropped off pretty quick.
Some nice shoulder high waves were had.

Not a cloud in the sky wonderful conditions Occy was there for some charity prize, part of the win was a session with Occy, they hung towards the G.

As this was all going on we shared the ocean with a whale the size of a bus and its calf, they were no more than 200 meters from the beach and only 100 from the take off point, they were still there when I left and the point and beach was packed with cameras.

Hope you have a good one,its 11 am and so much of the day to go!

Great work Mac! It's been a quiet year for whales on our coast.

Rincon (Bells) had some fun little ones again today. A touch wonky, and a long wait for the good ones, but still some very long rides. Up to chest high.

Cats play Crows in the late arvo game today.
