maybe a 14' tomy.

a dw run on the tomy saturday afternoon blow me away. like was was a standup oc1 or something. speed, drive and lift

and well, i haven't used my 8'8 666 for so long. it's like it seems too much hard work to bothered

i was on my cw hotlog, which i'm loving, at coolie on the weekend i was watching a couple of guys on short 666's and i couldn't help thinking how stupid it looked as they half paddled , half tripped around with their legs looking all bowed and stiff as wood.

i mean it suppose to be a paddle thing but what's the point if you can barely paddle them.

worse thing that ever happened is when some bright sparks decided to start going under ten foot in length imo.

with all the training and dw ing its just nice to hop on a board without a paddle for a change

ps i will still surf my 12'6 always

I have 4 boards Batmac ... 9'3" Goddard & 9'1" BM and a 8'1" Minimal which I need to start riding more , I also have a 9'0" Lopez 666 which I ride quite a bit only for surf though
.... like the Lopez coz I ride it far better than a LB and because I can take on overheads with it , and because I can get out regardless

No upgrades or additions just yet going to wait keep doing what I'm doing for a bit .... just want to surf so no DW'ers

Well I have a 5'11 v-channel twin fin waiting to be glassed and 7'0 single fin that need the rails shaped and then glassing so I guess those two are next then I think I will go for :

6'2 High performance shorty
10'6 Log
and the then I might have a crack at 8'6 or a 9'6 gun if I can get my hands on some templates

Sean is now officially in the dark side

Mac I am pretty sure you said just a few days ago that your quiver was now complete for a while

I have so many boards that I want to make that it is out of control - I will be risking a quick fire divorce if I go forward with my plans....but yes I will as I am fearless Next board will be a single fin based of a JT Diamond Egg around the 6'9" length. Then I am going to have a crack at making a vanguard type shape if all goes to plan. I have been trying to get my hands on a 10 foot second blank for a few months now and I happen to get my hands on one it shall move up to the front of the queue - a dedicated nose rider for those 1 to 2 ft small summer days.

Don't let the idea of quick divorce interfere with your dream Ted. You only go around once. Just do it. Yes I guess I'm on the dark side now but I ride it like a mal. Was doing a bit of cross stepping yesterday from the middle to the back of the board but will have to put some wax up on the nose soon. You could fit barbecue furniture up on the nose of this board.
Mac is becoming a logger How very hip . Do you reckon you might get to ride one of these Pinnacles before you order ? Glass in fins are nice though.

Mac, your latest design would look really sweet on The Pinnacle...

The Pinnacle is partially a result of Bob's work on the Occasional Pins. I prefer the narrower nose that the Occasional Pin model tends to get.
But the wider nose will suit smaller waves better... Narrower nose handles the juice better, yet still goes along nicely in the small stuff.

It would Simondo but I would go for this, nice red bottom and rail tint in red doubled stringer with gold pin, deck patch as per picture with glassed in fin.
Just a classic look imo.

Next board is a secret

Am hoping to put an order in today for a 6' x19 1/2x? Hp.
I also want a 9'6 whalebone and a sweet potato type board. But the big one I want is a windsurfer. With cmc the last one might be a while sadly

For me next one , looking now so in the near future , will be a 666 around the 8-6-9 foot length , quad setup , short board shape .

Have done my back in so the longboards are in for a decent rest in the garage but the 666 boards are coping a flogging .
Have a 9 5 Jimmy Lewis Striker - longboard type SUP and a 9 2 PSH set up with quads , really enjoy both but as you all know always looking for something better .

Thinking Jimmy Lewis Kwad / Naish Hokua / Fanatic Prowave .
