The majority of New longboards I see now are running thruster type set ups. Seem that the 2+1 set up is being replaced?

No worries Mac , appreciate your input

your tips have proved pretty useful in the past

OBCT still is the winner though in the best tip giving comp for me . The hairdryer on the boardsticker removal job worked magic

You could slide the fin forward a little bit...

Have you got a better photo of the centre fin?

Also, I'll be at the Stamford in Adelaide tomorrow night, if you have time for a beer. If not, I'll be back over in another 2 weeks.

Also, this is just a general note on thrusters, and the design intent;
Thruster set-ups (including 2+1), are really designed for laying the board over, quite hard off the bottom, and having the outside fin "out of the water".
If this doesn't sound like your type of surfing, then maybe Single Fins are quite OK for you...

Me personally, I love singles, and I also love 2+1, or I like to say 1+2 (1 Centre plus 2 side bites)...

I am going to have a go and see if I like it. I may even try the 7 inch single fin to see how I go.

This Wednesday doesn't work but definately hit me up in 2 weeks and we will catch up for a beer.
