Geez nothing ****s me more than shoes....I like to mooch around in a slip on no back Sanuk setup, bare feet or thongs dependant on the social situation...I will condesend to wear shoes to work buts its got me ****ed why the missus insist I wear fully enclosed shoes and not dress like a homeless bum thats lives in dumpster every time we have to go out somewhere...I could handle having to put a shirt on but shoes suck

Yeah bugger shoes , after wearing HD Boots at work - I can't do the dress shoe thingo for long .... feel that pain Tux grab a pair of Doc Martins for when you really have to do that deed for the little lady's sanity

Tux - get yourself some of these (sanuk) - they just might be your solution. They even have a few decent looking ones that can pass as work shoes these days - well smart styley casual - not smart business casual! I have 3 pairs and use them as my work shoes whenever I can.....do not wear them on a rainy day though

Yep Doc's rock I bought my first pair in 20+ years recently and they're just so comfy, slip on ankle high jobbies ala Blundstones. Price hasn't changed much in 20yrs either.

Sorry dude, don't check the Longboard updates as often as you inevitably do. Judging by the comments I'm guessing there is some history I'm not aware of? For the record I wear boring old leather shoes to work, not particularly proud of that fact or anything I just think boat shoes are ****ing hilarious for all the reasons SP pointed out. They're the McTavish of the shoe world though so I guess it figures. I wish everyone else took my opinion as seriously as you do.

By the by, feel free to PM me (real person, real name right on the profile). Not from Doubleview and know bugger all about cars, I'm stylish as **** though so flick a message through and I'll send some suggestion (one will be that you go **** yourself but I'll send some shoe links as well if you like).
