Finally made the leap and grabbed a pair of neoprene booties the ripcurl rubbersoul

. Real fact the rear end of my old F-bombs finally blew right out so I had to make a decision .

tried to support the local surf shops and purchase a pair locally , but hard as it is to beleive no shop on the north coast of tassie stock neoprene boots . Went through Surfstitch . Great service boots arrived in 1 day

These boots are good. Easy to get on and off , completely water proof , split toe , great to wear .I reckon even you queenslanders would enjoy wearing them Huge improvement on the F- bomb . The only improvement I would like to see is a velcro strap around the ankle to keep the water out of the top of the boots . easily fixed though with a pair of old legrope velcro straps to do the same job .

hows the water temp over your way at the moment pup . there is a bit of easterly weather coming our way so I think our water is about to warm up

water is great , but we've got a storm cell over us atm and it's not too crash hot all week , went out this morning early for a look , waste of time mate

Depends on when my daughter goes on her holidays as I get the grandson while she is away ,then I get to fly back up with him to return him to his mother and have a bit of a holiday .

Hey TD I've been buying heaps of stuff off surfstitch and they are amazing - 24 free delivery to the door !! my mate in Sri Lanka contacted aussie surf shops recently to send him up a swag of legropes but nobody keen to do it so he bought em on surfstitch and had them within 3 days.
As for the booties - I packed mine away about 2 wks ago cos the water up at "H" is positively tropical now.
I will be out on a mal for the next coupla months TD so look out mate ( injured myself and cant paddle the sup)

Am a bit worried about getting up there and trying to surf amongst a million people .would hate to ding Macs Lime splice or Chrispys new board .Not used to the crowds so anybody near me could be risking a collision

Mate, wont have the board ti end of next week. Im off to Deloraine festival on sunday (apparently).
