What we go was one of the greatest shows on earth by the worlds best big wave surfers.

Still got to see Hobgood Parko Fanning charging on the inside ledge and the guys on the outside pulling into things planes could fly through.

Hold the comp and we see 1/10 of the waves ridden.

The only thing that I am bummed about is the wave of the day apparently came through after camera's were off and Dave Wassel post commentating duties 1 minute into lineup got called into a beast, rode it and was back on the boat three minutes later cracking a beer. Cant find the film aywhere accept one photo.

Like Chopes last year I am thankful for the tour as it put the cameras and infrastructure there to let us see it.

We dont moan about a horse bred for sprinting not going in the Melbourne cup. I see this as no different. The top 34 are the best on waves within a certain range and then the guys we got to see come into their own.

they called it off cause there was a big swell coming then called it off when it arrived. WTF.
