Agree SP,ok we're not all going to agree at times so thats life,there is no need to get dirty if its not going you're way,just don't reply simple.Many years ago it was fun to join in and yes there was banter but good banter,nothing malicious,bring back the lost crew and enjoy what we all are here for, simply surfing what ever craft you wish to ride.Although i am partial to Longboarding,simply beacause of age and weight and not only that i missed the longboard era just,and it would be nice to master the craft.

I've said on a few occasions that I only really post when I think I can add to the thread in some way,
but I would say it's often a bit tricky to jump into a "conservation" with all you blokes.
I know I have been half way through typing something then think - do you guys need to hear from another anonymous surf hack - probably not - so I delete it and not post..... **** almost did it again

Don't hold back mate, you're probably asking or talking about something others want to know or ask but don't end up doing either.

I reckon more board reviews (without criticism from others who's opinions may differ, a differing opinion can be given without criticising)
I'm interested in fins and the effect different shapes and designs make. I'm interested in board design characteristics and their effects etc etc.

I think the main issue just stems from hijacking/off on a tangent (intentional or not) that takes away from initially informative or genuinely asking for opinions or help that have lead us to this point somewhat. (I'm just as guilty of this as anyone)

I think there are plenty of other threads in this room that are for fun/jokes/hanging s*** without wrecking threads that people come here to learn from or teach.

Always get more peeps popping in in summer.

Just for the record I consider this place the Greenroom, not the longboarding room. Anything goes for me here if its surf related. I have no interest in any form of football or cricket & will usually switch channels when that crap comes up on the tv. Really pisses me off when they talk about it outside of the sports portion of the news. I usually watch sbs news for the simple reason it actually has real news. Not some Ozzy footy star apologizes for getting busted BS I couldn't give a fark about...but I don't complain about those threads or the ones which should be via private message coz I can simply ignore them
