Storm, just have everything, coach ,no limelight .

raiders, if Ricky has a bit of consistency.

broncs, best coach in the game,,don't know about the loss of Parker , stars can win games
work horses like Parker get you there..big loss.

cowboys ,like Chrispy said if JT plays all year.

sharks will be hard to beat at home like most teams.

prob souths because the recruited well and because my team but that's it.

dogs, grrrrrrr

leaving 8th out

dragons Titans penrith Kiwis any of them

tigers could surprise me,with a settled team for the start of the year.

manly with 20 new guys in ,,,its building time,

knight for the wood if the chooks don't snatch it.

My prediction for the year is that several player managers will finally get what's coming to them from the boys in blue. And about time as well. It's not hard to work out that the player managers are well entrenched / driving the under the table payments. They seem to have escaped the previous fiascos - Storm being the prime example - but it's coming fellas - and I can not wait.

Not much has had been said about the arrest of the Parra fella this week - I reckon that is the tip of the iceberg of what's to come.

They may all be doing it but that does not make it right in my eyes.

The NRL has a bunch of rules that I don't like and a bunch that I do. The point is if there were no rules it would be a shambles. Just like driving in Indo - there are rules - just not really enforced or aherred to - ask Mac about his recent experience over there.

Dont even get me started on the tax dodging antics of all my tradie mates. They are playing by the 'rules' though that everyone else is.

I have no sympathy for the managers Cobra - none what so ever. Sorry.

NRL has no balls Ted - it would be over the moment HQ lays down the law with contracts & puts in the constitution that it has to be served no if no buts , you sign for 2years you do 2 years .... end of slimy bastards weaseling their stable out of them & earning themselves squillions for it

So you are saying that the clubs come to the managers with the "deals" and then they get fired through? Well if its as bad as this then surely Mr Greenberg knows all about it and should fix it - or maybe he is just as guilty as all of the rest of them and can't - as Pup was alerting to. FIFA all over again. Clean the place out I say.

I believe there should be more transparency also Ted, yes mate if a team is sponsored dy Holden and a new car is given to a player to drive around in, its coming from the club.

I can really see Manly taking out the 2017 minor premiership and grand final with the new philosophy that has been embedded during pre season, can't wait for them to implement it on the field

Warriors are normally a joke and you would never wanna put your hard earned cash on them.

2017 looks interesting though.

They do have an amazing spine this year - on the paddock. At every point. Lets see if they have a spine upstairs in their head as well though - that will be the real test. No need to call up Eddie and place some bets on losing games you twits. Play to win for a change. And please play for 80 minutes - especially those first 40m.

As long as they finish above that idiot Trent from Lottoland and his troops I will be happy. If they finish above those stupid Dragons from Illawarra - that Chrispy supports - things will be getting good (they should do this comfortably I hope) - above Surfbrokers team as well that will be even better - If the Snakeman and Scotty come to blows because we smashed them then that is clearly a great result for me. If Macs once wild horses fall behind it will be all apples as well. His other team the Titians (also Pup - I am linking you to your new home-base) it will be fun to see brought down as well. And if we don't beat smh's team it will be a season of nothing once more. JTs mob - well lets hope they falter but they do look good on paper. And wouldn't it be great to see those over-achieving cheats from the grim city fall by the way side for a change - but lets be honest Craig can coach and always seems to deliver. I really hate him. Look SP - your Tigers are not there yet - Jason is still an idiot despite your young guns - and as for your Knights - they were taken by a Rook many moons ago. Canberra and Mr Stewart - well if anyone supports them - I hope you fail on principal (even though you look good value at the bookies). Panther - should do well - great under 20's the last few years and with Gus driving things they will perform strongly. I have no issues with them.

Anyway lets bring it on. After a year off in 2016 (thank goodness so I only got to hear about the Sharks - not see them) I am back for 2017. Shame the Warriors don't have the mindset of the ABs or even our Super rugby teams - but lets hope they can grow some balls and a spine now they at least have one on paper.

My only request this year is that no one blames the refs for their sides losses. Yes they will make mistakes. But they will most probably balance out though - as they normally do. When you get really upset with the ref (which you will) - just look at all the stupid penalties your side gave away, the number of missed tackles from your soft defence, the dropped balls from the idiots who wear your jersey, the blokes that should have been playing for you but weren't as they were banned for off-field incidents - and then thank GOD that the ref never used the sin bin like he should have. Simple really. Whenever I see someone moaning about the refs this year I am going to call it as I see it - tell you to stop being a bitch, swallow some concrete and harden the farrrk up. Simple. It swings in rounder-abouts. And I know we all like to swing. Especially those concreter's in North Queensland
