Mmm. Not sure.

Probably mid length smaller wave board. Might stretch it to 9ft

I'm about to start a thread on "narrower and thicker", in terms of Longboards.

The idea is to go big,I want something that will catch knee high waves yes knee high.I have all the other bases covered but want something that will get me in the water when most would sit at home and watch the grass grow.I purchased a 666 for these day's some years back but that's not for me.
I thinking 10-11 foot x ? x ? and there's the tail shape pin or square?

Yesterday I rode Vanders redline 10 x 24 x 3 1/2 it went unreal in the fat deep hole conditions 2 foot with bigger ones every now and then but I want bigger,two paddle take offs in small and bigger gutless conditions.

Shaped by me..

Disclaimer, I am not a shaper and my board will probably be half as good as it would be if I got a real shaper to do it.

Could you get your arm around it at 24? Only just?

I would just ride Vander's board a few more times, and then you have a good reference point.

Post some pics of Vander's board!

I agree with Big Spazz - make sure you get a 666 hand hold put in it as well - then you sort of have one of those as well and you can carry it - the best of both worlds

What about glassing?
Can I make a suggestion?!
Something like this Tracker. Dark Red stringers. Either 1 thick stringer, or triple strung... But you can play around with inlays & patches. Diamonds, curved diamonds... Maybe 2 drops of green tint to make it look even more traditional.
Plus once you are "off white" it will help disguise any minor yellowing that happens over time.

This is nice too Mac. Similar colour scheme to your current ideas...

I think you could have another go at Sunset Tint actually...

Lacey you'll keep

Ted yes a handle would be a smart move
Big Unit 11 foot I'm thinking
Simondo,no not too old school,thinking
Redline or something similar and yes it will
be heavy as for the glide.

My tracker example was just for the tint / artwork, obviously.

Hey I have an idea;

Bob McTavish Handshaped Redline;
Around 10'2 x 23"3/4 x 3 3/8.

Rounded Pin. It will handle some bigger sets if they rock up on those 1 foot days.
Tough decision though, maybe square is better...

Tint - Maybe Sunset Tail Tint. 1.5 foot red tail dip, and 1 foot yellow band... ?? Just suggestions.

now here is a idea thats going to get beaten down because most in here are like old dogs. it's a wonder they can use a pc.

get a centre strap in front of where you lie down. its a big board. a strap would be good to grab if needed and it would work well with the old eskimo roll if it was positioned right.

so a 666 handle and a strap- didn't you have something like this but you sold it lol.
