Style is depending on era..beauty in the eye of the beholder.

Welcome back Scotty - we (well definitely me ) have missed you

No great surprise in yr choice

Tom Curren (please note the spelling LL) is the one for me then Shaun at Pipe / Backdoor is a joy to behold as is Gerry. Terry Fitz at J-Bay in some of the old footage is mental. He really was the Sultan of Speed. George Greenough always looks divine - even if he doesn't stand up

Funny that this thread has come up,as I was bagging MR the other day about not being smooth, even quoted the seagull comment.... Then google came out,MR is smooth as and after 30 years he did it on a twinnie. He is now in my top three surfers.
One more.for me.would be, and I.can't believe this name has not been mentioned....... Well the king himself,. Mr kelly ****in slater, the man is the epitome of style and greatness

chrispy, the great MR was my first surfing hero by a long short. he just made everything look easy.

parko does the same kind of thing these days.

any one who bags mr is not a fit and proper member of the green room and laurie will be summoned to deal with any infidels with the full force of all his powers

I like a lot of peoples styles on different board types. The people I most enjoy watching at the moment are Dane Reynolds on SB's & Justin Redman on LB's

4 that would be on my list.

And MR is stylish as. But Lopez probably takes the 70s crown
Then Curren for the 80's.

And recently I'd say Parko is the smoothest on tour and honourable mentions to slater and I always reckon Taylor knox had a good style and best forehand cuttie.

The footage of Wayne Lynch doing little head dip barrels switch foot as a 10 year old in Uncharted Waters is about the best display of natural talent/style I've seen.

WL at the end of storm riders is timeless I reckon ... Dropping into big lefts in "south australia" is about as good as it gets.
Beaten only by Lopez dropping into g-land in the same movie.
Come to think of it how about Thornton Fallander..his cutback at Nias is just about the coolest move I have ever seen.
