here's the film that won the prize. Its about older women surfers at Lennox.

during the course of making it I lost the GoPro in the drink ......and not being able to afford to replace it sucked.

I plan to use the voucher money to replace the GoPro and accessories lost.

what an awesome video! Couldnt help but smile through out the whole thing, and what a frother/ripper 64 yr old Marg is!!! Really loved this, awesome edit! Inspiring!

I enjoyed that clip. Nice story. There's two women that surf around here and they're as keen as any of the blokes and out there pretty much every day all year round. They always bring a happy vibe with them and it's always good to have them out there.

Well said smh.....I always enjoy surfing with females as well....most of the time it seems to result in a much nicer friendly environment.

Kitegirl - can not be too far away that new board of yours - we are all expecting lots of pics

Mac will be just as excited. Maybe Big Spaz can find it on the racks and shoot a couple before hand.

Most off the girls I see in the surf a're generally aarrogant that love to drop in...they love the im only Girl line. Yes it is the majority,they are woare than 666

That's not cool. A lot of the time I'm the only girl, but to get respect you have to show respect. I wouldn't stuff someone else's wave coz if I am in the right spot I'd hate for someone to stuff mine!!!

Kitegirl have you checked the progress of your board,mine was shaped last week and I'm sure I ordered mine after you so yours should be dam close.
