sorry to come on with a spam post but I'm hoping someone might benefit from this.

My wife won the film segment of the Byron Surf Festival and as a prize won an $800 voucher at McTavish redeemable on a surfboard.

We're not in a position to use it at the moment (can't afford the rest of the price) and are looking to pass it on for $700.

Basically, you get a hundred bucks off a board purchase.

This has been cleared with Bob and the sales manager there Ben.

Anyone interested let me know and we can make it happen.

Actually Chris, I offered it specifically to someone on RS for $600 who had previously helped me out financially. I owed him a favour and hoped to pass it back. He wasn't interested.

The original offer was made for $700 same as here.


If someone gets a hundred off a board they already have planned then that sounds like a win-win to me.

here's the film that won the prize. Its about older women surfers at Lennox.

during the course of making it I lost the GoPro in the drink ......and not being able to afford to replace it sucked.

I plan to use the voucher money to replace the GoPro and accessories lost.

Thanks - I shall view that when I am back on line good and proper.....

I loved that video of you tandeming with yr daughter and posted it here a long time back - everyone enjoyed it.....great video. Hope u get yr go pro back.

Couldn't be,I'm sure obct said the ladies surfed

Finally watched this movie and must say I enjoyed it. Some nice messages in there, some lovely looking waves and some interesting / cruising tunes. Big Congrats to your wife - well deserved.
