Seriously. Young kids see a lot these days, that thing called google is a portal to a whole new world anyone over 30 didn't have growing up... And besides that Weiry and bulldog pup should be encouraged. Think of it as public service otherwise they'll be out in the community ..

Its great to hang a bit of shlt and there's always a bit of harmless (hopefully) innuendo and the token semi-naked girly pics, BUT is it any wonder that there are not too many chix posting on the breeze or younger kids ????

There have been many things posted on the forum that have even made me cringe at times and on a couple of occasions I have been disgusted at some comments, and trust me I am no prude.

But a specific answer.... kids reading this forum !? I doubt it! It's longboarding!

Should we clean up our act... maybe just a little... But it's mostly fun...

PS - I haven't Andre's topic for 24 hours.... not sure on latest developments... But mostly, over the last year, we've just had a chuckle at the Longboard Bar! 1-2% of most things in life are over the edge a little bit... And you just let it slide...

maybe we should spend more time chatting about something as wholesome as football, seems to be a major topic of conversation around these here parts

In all seriousness, this am (sic) the interwebs, never take the words to mean anything, if you do, you may as well stick to facebook where the hopelessly inane can find a substitute life beyond the one their real life is so completely bereft of.

As far as offending the kiddies go, if any are reading, I do hope they learn that you can be both dirty and witty simultaneously if you choose your words with care rather than what I hear them doing when I either go to uncensored web sites or simply overhear them talk, argue or just interact with an adult that they have issues with.

It's just a charmless tirade of "F"ing and "C"ing with no wit or forethought other than pure malice. I much prefer a bit of clever humor when I'm being abused, rather than having a child say to me "you "F"ing old "C", as has been the case out in the surf.

I would feel so much better if one of them could say to me something like "when you get home of a night. do you like to take of your shoes and give them a "F" because they've had a "C" in them all day?"

And the best thing of all? in less than 24 hours, these words will be lost forever in cyberspace and no one will remember them and no one will care, because this am (sic) the interwebs and words are disposable.

I can see where you're coming from obct . Wit can take a lot of sting out of off colour material.This forum is seriously tame compared to another surf forum that I won't mention here. There really is no abuse here and anything contentious seems to get sorted out quick and everyone moves on.ive seen guys on the other forum organizing a meeting spot to sort each other out, verbal abuse and plenty of f...s and c...s. Someone else made mention that kids are a lot more switched on nowadays . I have 3 aged 13, 15 and 17 and they are nowhere near as naive as I was especially at 13.
I can see why you cop the odd spray out in the surf. You ride a 10'6 don't you ?

i say this with a happy glow. wtf, mate if i was a kid growing up now my pecker would look like a tree in a bushfire geez you would have 500000000000 kids turning up somewhere if someone found their old mans stash now these kids see things that make me blush. i will say that i was in the sex industry for over 10 years and i am spun out sometimes myself i think the beer garden is the shiz,if you dont think so...suck my c0ck and then i will smash your head in...or i do like to have a beer with people who like to laugh

I agree with Billboard that occasionally it does get a little out of hand. But its nothing major and thank goodness its not like one or two of those forums as has been mentioned - some of those are out of control. I like the Long Room Bar.

It would be good if more chicks joined in - they seem to keep people a bit more honest.....I see that one of them contributes occasionally (although under an alternative log-in ). Maybe that should be in Mac's KPI's this year - to sign up 5 chicks who will contribute on a regular basis

Now Chrispy - after all those yrs of work experience I am sure you would have a few good stories....you are welcome to share a few as long as they are not to mad
