Thanks asea - it was a shame to see her go but she was sadly surplus to requirements. Much like the 6'10" I sold a few days earlier. It feels weird shipping two great boards out the door but if they are not being used as intended well I guess its time to move them on to good homes. I have a new board on order which is pretty exciting though!

Sorry fellas been doing some work....its a 6'6" * 2.75 rounded pin with lots of volume through the front 1/3 of the board for paddling. It will have a nice single to double concave through the bottom with fairly flat tail rocker. It will be ridden as a quad mainly but will have a centre fin spot as well. Its been brought for 2 main purposes - firstly for the bigger days when the 5'10" and 6'4" should stay in the rack and secondly so that I only need to take one board when I am heading away for a few days with work etc. I do lots of short sharp trips with work and I always seem to get caught between what board to take so I figure this one will solve lots of those issues. And travelling with one board is 100 times easier than two. The gap between my 6'10" and 6'4" was too much. It will be glassed strongly with a 6 and 4 on top and a 6 on the bottom with long laps left on it. The other benefit for this type of board is that it whenever we get decent sized swells here on the coast where I live there is normally a truckload of water moving as well - meaning that you want as much paddle power as you can get I reckon. I also often surf a couple of reefs that are a 20 min plus paddle from the beach so paddle power / performance is always a high priority. Having a 6'6" once you are up and riding is a lot more fun than a 6'10" on the days at the margin as well. We shall see though.

I am not yet sure of the decor yet - was hoping something was going to come up in Chrispy's thread to excite me. I need this sorted asap.

I am pretty excited and am wishing that it was ready for this weeks adventure but alas its will not be.
