its mystery why loggers and sup pers don't like each other.

i guess loggers are holding on to the past, where sup pers are looking to the future.

bet long boarders still watch black and white tv

Lacey some of us don't hate sup'ers its just a p-ss take, hell some of us have owned or own one,on a personal note,I just don't get it,I purchased one for flatwater boring and started surfing one which was fun for a whole five minutes,I'd dearly wish Chrispy would donate his Fanatic 12.6 I wouldn't mind one of those.

Purchased a big log for the smaller days and love it

piss take city haha. mac its weird, you start sup ping in flat water, hate it, get out in the surf. but here's is the catch, as you get better and get into dw ing etc, you start to like training to paddle faster.

Well the thing is longboarders can paddle with their hands while SUPers use a dirty big f-off paddle, thats the main difference

as we evolved from primitive apes to man, we started using tools

some just never evolved

i dont think any design from sup is coming to lb or sb,i just think that most people who surf are not pros and realise they are better off with a board they can actually ride and have fun on. thats why i love my egg, thick with forgiving rails and a ball to ride not as much fun as my 8ball though

you know there more stuff about sups in here then the sup forum- keep it coming

Hi LL, are you still surfing SUP's? I thought you might have gone back to prone. After 18mths of SUP surfing I went back to LB's. To be honest I just found it easier, the board goes in your car, is easier to carry down the beach, don't have to worry about keeping away from crowds, I have more performance, etc

I do believe there is a spot in the quiver for a SUP for small days. What's in your quiver?

Cheers Daneli

mostly race sup surfing and dw ing. i got back into the short board earlier in the year.

however i'm not interested in battling out on a point break or dbar or something, so i found it was hard to get good beachies in our area so i dropped off a bit.

i'm not travelling the country side chasing waves anymore

14 ft dw custom dw board, a 12'6 coming, gerry lopez sweetie pie 8'10 and any old beat up murry burton 6'5.

have be thinking about a 6'2 x 19 something x 2 3/8 ' to 2 1/2 new shortie

Mate Im 80kg and Im using a 6,3 x 19 x 2 1/2 at the moment and its a great board nice and flat under the guts, bit of nose rocker and alot of area in the tail. Floats me fine and gets through dead sections with ease

doggie i had a nice dhd coffee bean/ hayden fibre flex epoxy glassed. real good board for me coming of sups construction wise. sold it when i was short one week.6'2 x 19 i/2 x 2 1/2 sounds big, but had a nice rail and well coming of a sup, it was like a tooth pick to me

i would like to get another, but that might be a bit hard now.

murry b owes me some favours for work done so i might hit him up
