The poor quality of the waves is only surpassed by the poor excuse of a webcast.. the stupid piece of **** works for 30 seconds then ****s up, if the new deal brings anything I hope it's decent coverage cause watching the dream tour is nothing but a nightmare...

I am feeling weird about this comp today...I put a decent amount on Joel to win the title at $4.50 10 days ago and thats looking like its going to come in now but secretly I wanted Kelly to win. He will probably be paying $8 by the end of this comp which might be worth an emotional hedge

He was 1.45 before this event... I'm on Parko to win Portugal @8s....

I think if he gets past JJ then Medina could be the next stumbling block..

Medina did an air reverse with so power + critical maneuver got only a 7.9 , he also did a tube with more than 7 seconds with a great maneuver and got a 6 something, f*ck off. then pretty boy Julian Wilson gets a tube of 2 seconds and no critical maneuver and gets an 8.43.. **** all of you thieves muther f*uckers. neverf returnig to this website never again... shame may ASP familes die in hel and those judges too.. hate asp and hating surfing from now on.... god will give us justice.

Yep Julian is one lucky boy,two ok barrels and funky cold Medina ripped the bags out of a heap of waves.

No doubt Medina rips but his surfing is repetitive IMO, it's a crazy kind of repetitive. But I reckon if you surf like that all event the judges might think in the final they wanna see a bit extra, maybe push it a bit more than going for his safe front side air reverse. Which itself is nuts that it can be called a safe move for him..

Anyway well done JW, he has been surfing good since he came on tour and deserved to lift a trophy.. Even if he may have been over scored.


And Medinas reaction was good 2, not happy at all.

Just watched the final. Checked it out on the ASP fb page and yeah the Brazo's are letting everyone know there not happy

Just watched it now....hard one to call really. I thought that he was over scored compared to Gabs but as SP says he does need to mix things up a bit perhaps. A shame he never got a bit deeper on that pit of his and his waves were a little smaller as well. Hard to be a judge in a subjective sport but looking at his 8.43 judges scores they were all fairly consistent which would make it hard to argue too much
8.43 - 7.8 8.5 8.5 8.5 8.3

For GM final wave it was 7.47 - 7.2 7.8 7.3 7.8 7.3 which were pretty close as well.

Yep the old funky cold medina ...... Was a song at one time , I remember vaguely .

Just watched the four waves and .... Yup the funkster should be crapped off .

surfing contest scoring is just as bad as ice skating !!!
