I loved the evo 2 for years but the evo 2 with the 07 rocker the FB square rocker has,far better board for where I surf.
Paddle power,speed ,drives over dead sections better than the evo 2.But if your a light weight and surf punchy beach breaks
or big stuff the evo 2 will out do the square tail.

Cool, I'm toying up between the 2. I'm 6'3" and 102kg surfing beach breaks and reefies up to a couple of feet over head high. I'm thinking around a 9'2" x 23" x 3"

If your surfing over head and weigh 102 the evo 2 is the pick imho,would you really need to go that thick and wide ?

Yeah, not too sure how big I need to go.

Majority of of waves are around waist to chest height with the odd day slightly over head.
