six weeks to go please please please swell be on, taking 3 boards one 9' bear one 9'5" 666 and a 6'8"carbon shorty and a camera.all bases are loaded,Going with 4 mates ive known for 35yrs and staying in a mates house in INDO for $20.00 a night with a 200m left hand reef break right in front of us for two weeks.
im so stoked about this trip ive had a SH!T last couple of years so even my wife thinks i am owed this one

Old mate of mine surfed Sumatra 3 years ago loved it . No idea which beach/ beaches he got to as never been there myself .

No, its no travel group, if thats who freeline are, or surf camp, or resort. a very good friend of ours and two of his mates built a house on the beach and let a indo couple live in the house for nothing, they move out the back whenever they go over and the indo couple cook the food while we are there. one of the boys that owns the place has just come back after a month, they tell me he has found love over theresucker"just joking"
we have been meaning to go for years but everyone is always doing something, this year after my shzz i said look boys we're not getting younger and we could be dead tomorrow lets get of our fat arses and go

Sounds good. Ive been trying to get over there for a while now but am waiting till Im fully surf fit again. A guy i went to school with is a guide over there and Grant Miller who I get boards off is running the Ombak Indah losmens this winter.
Plenty of set ups there Wiery without too much crowding and Ive been told has some of the best beach breaks in Indo. Enjoy and get some pics.

hey weiry,just been informed by a local 666'er,out the front of the Tugu Hotel Canggu is a great LB wave.

the new indo toy 7S Wave magnet 7'6" x 21,1/4" x 3" round pin,i;m only taking 2 Boards now,to much weight, had a beer with the boys that own the house and they are pissing themselves that i'm taking a 666 they recon it will last 1 wavethat reminds me, one of my mates is taking some fiberglass and mat.. we are giving it to the local indo board repair guys they don't get much stuff over there and we are only to happy to help them out the boys say they will love it
