Its been an amazing days play SP. So many weird things happening. Who would believe that we would survive this long when we were 5/97 - now 6/571!! Brendon - the most free scoring guy around decides to go the other way and is now the second highest run scorer in NZ cricket history on 281 not out - from 525 balls!!! Martin Crowe scored 299 in Wellington (same ground many moons ago) against Sri Lanka. Earlier in the day it looked like all 3 results were still possible - now a win or a draw is what it looks like. The Basin wicket is normally all over after 3 or 4 days - now we go into day 5!! I can not believe it. We smashed them in the one day series, won the first test and now this. Jeepers - we may at last have something that resembles a cricket team. Perhaps I can stop cheering for the Poms
