Very funny SP!!

MJ is on fire still and finally the whole top 6 is scoring runs. Now your team is looking much more complete

Do I get some sort of let off for backing them to win and MJ as man of the series?

Just the first test at this stage. Depends where the bookies make the market for the next few tests

No let off as you are only backing us for (possible) monetary gain.
Therefore, wrong reasons.

I can't quite describe it, but I feel slightly proud of Mitchell. Its like Ive been following him for years knowing his potential but not quite getting the return.

Now he's getting it all together I feel a bit like the absent godfather or something similar. It gives me that "good on yer mate" feeling.

I might even raise a glass in honour... Oh yeah already done it

Its been an amazing days play SP. So many weird things happening. Who would believe that we would survive this long when we were 5/97 - now 6/571!! Brendon - the most free scoring guy around decides to go the other way and is now the second highest run scorer in NZ cricket history on 281 not out - from 525 balls!!! Martin Crowe scored 299 in Wellington (same ground many moons ago) against Sri Lanka. Earlier in the day it looked like all 3 results were still possible - now a win or a draw is what it looks like. The Basin wicket is normally all over after 3 or 4 days - now we go into day 5!! I can not believe it. We smashed them in the one day series, won the first test and now this. Jeepers - we may at last have something that resembles a cricket team. Perhaps I can stop cheering for the Poms

When South Africa was 2-fa, on the final day. My main "live" bookie was offering $1.10 for Australia to win... Needless to say, I put down a "fifty", and got "fifty-five" back!

I actually expected $1.05 / $1.04 at that stage... (2 early wickets, and a massive lead!)
