is too much,as in the number of boards you own?

I'm thinking of ordering a Dream Liner and can't part with any of my 4 boards.

We had a thread not long ago about people.regretting boards they have gotten rid of.
So I think keep them all unless
It's a dog
You need money to get another

I'm keeping all mine unless that happens. I love getting on a different board and readjusting how you surf a wave...or it just spice **** up again.
The wife thinks I have to many, the crew think not enough

as i just stated else where- still thinking about getting the nano back.

i've got 5 race boards tomy 12'6 and 14, fanatic 14 for rubbish north runs, a 12'6 fanatic for dw and ins and outs- top board and i managed to get my old bullet 17'4 back for big tweed runs.

each board has a purpose, i have limited room now, but i can't manage to part with any of them which is a big turn around for me.

and now im on the shortboard trip again- gulp

mac get rid of those two

From someone who has always had to sell a board to get a new one,
I say, if you can afford to keep a board when you want a new then you should.

Even if you don't surf them a lot they are still there if the conditions are right and besides they are lovely to look at.

Keep em, I say.

Um no tank/log board will ever be a two stroke paddle in small waves. They are load of hard ****ing work to get moving. Once, after all that effort they go hard, fast and straight no problem

I realise my quiver needs a few adjustments. Have been fortunate to acquire a 7'2" Wayne Lynch this week otherwise I would have been up **** creek without a paddle. Longer more narrow boards are definitely the go over here.

LL - can not believe you moved on the Nano!! You said it was a keeper - deep down I knew you would not be able to help yourself

At first I'd say, only cash & storage would be the boundary. Its an awesome feeling buying a new board & looking forward to surfing it. But unless a boards a wall hanger or holds some kind of nostalgic charm, you can't help but feel guilty if boards are getting a little too dusty.

Good to have some overlap in a quiver I reckon, sometimes its big. But its also fat...or its small & super sucky.

At the moment I have 4 boards I use regularly, a nostalgia & a 666. Plus a couple on the way. But I'd still like a log LB...& a mid length you guys talked me into it

This board is a little different to your one bro Thin, narrow and lots of rocker. Big here this arvo. Will try and get some shots tom if I am not out in it. Need a really low tide to walk over the reef to get shots.

LL I am intrigued. Will do some research when I get back in to the land of the living. As for the Wallabies game - I entertained the bar via a funny text feed from the Guardian yest arvo. Pleased with the result. Not on TV here - had to get 10 minute delayed newspaper feed. Sounded like a great game though

Cobra - that was gold.
