Dude, I know and I was actually going to take the GoPro out last night but I hadn't charged the battery since Bali aaaaargh...
I've actually ordered a mouth mount too because I just can't bring myself to put a mount on my beautiful boards 
if it works I plan on doing heaps more vid/pics...
And I'm very tempted by the GoPro hero 4, the extra protune stuff, improved low light and built in screen make it almost irresistible

The problem with Gopro is 99.9% of surfing vids are **** unless your getting deep barrels. Take a look at the soloshot, you can pick up the 1st model for $400 now.

Yeah if your in an area you can leave the soloshot on the shore, they are awesome. Could be perfect for ya.....that last day was one of the worst this year. I got hit in the leg on that slow mo part & was surfing in a lot of pain for the rest of the session. I could barely walk for a week, bloody hurt

Over the Launceston Long Weekend I got fun waves though. We got rubbish tip about 2-3 ft and perfect, just me dad and the brother. Was awesome.

Screen will kill battery life man.
More for the low light actually but screen handy for use as a still cam so extra battery not an issue...
Now stop procrastinating Tc and get back to that study

Yeah I suppose as a still cam the screen would be good
I have finished 1 exam, 3 more to go but one I won't count anyway so only really two important ones

Scored a Soloshot off ebay for $150, just needs some waves now, shocking here atm
