I have been told that.

Mum/Wifey (She Who Must Be Obeyed): what did you do today, son?
Son: We went to the surf shop and looked at boards, fins and Dad paid $300 Off his new board.


Now this would have been fine except:

a) I didn't actually have any conversation with her about ordering that board,
b) She mentioned this conversation to me about 0.5 of a second after I said not to buy any Chrissie presents yet. Then suggested I go back and ask for a refund.

Then said I was banned until 2017 at least.

At least, like you, after this years quiver revamp, I am pretty contented.

Except....

it is a beauty pup and I know its half mad but.


I want to ride my shortboards more and its all to easy just to takes this out.

remember I still paddle race 666's a lot so finding time to surf every thing is impossible.

however im not giving either board away so they may well end up back home- who knows

Ok. Here it is I want a longer board with more glide and float. That one I got is a good price designed by a australian world champion.

The mact nr i have is good but it hasnt every really grabbed me. Not like say the mct 9.3 which is brilliant.

I didnt kill anyone that im aware off

Im not a form person.
Function over form.

I haven't put the other boards up yet. Maybe I should have a surf off first when Im back in the water

Lacey I reckon the 9'6 207 you once had would be just what you're looking for, even a 9'8 version for just a bit more of a good thing.

its a lot of money to get another mct v.

if I don't like it, well for us normal folk the trade in price at mct land is $800 ceiling.

that's dropping $800 to $1000.

don't like this one lose maybe $250

But I'm chasing something on the shorter side for beach breaks that will suit a 100kg beginner. I've actually got Macs old 9'6 Evo, so something that gels well with that board.
