Full moons are bad news we used to dread them working in Nursing homes the whole place would always end up haywire

Ahhhhh - you were wrong !

However my faith was restored yesterday after turning up at a brand new break with a sup on the roof, to be greeted by some serious "WTF" are you ding here looks !!
I stood and watched the waves for a while and was approached by one of the local crew........... an 5 minutes later the girl and I were getting a guided tour of the town and all surf spots and finally left at the prime sup spot with a friendly wave and a "catch ya 2moz for a wave"

My missus just looked at me and said "I thought you said surfers could be a bit funny about blow ins !" I had nothin ! faith restored.

Hey devil - 80% of what go on this forum is self promotion and self gratification - the other 20% is honest and very genuine information and friendly banter. You will quickly work out who and what fits where but you are definately in the more genuine area of the forum mate.

But great story, always good to have your faith in the human race restored. And they should feel good about themselves too, how good Is it to make someone else happy.

Yep Bill yet to see any surf rage or meet any unfriendly locals in Tassie . I think it is because it is nice here to see another face in the water here some days .

Unfortunately the surf gods aren't looking fondly on us for Friday surf forecast has changed it's forecast from a northeasterly with 2-3 foot swell to a northwesterly with f...all swell . See what comes up . Worse comes we have plenty of coffee shops to meet up Give us a call when you get up

Talkin bout testicles - had my first tassie wave today - beautiful sunny and warm day with zero wind, small cruisey waves and definately no need for a wetty - then on the first wave I fell off !!!!!!!!

OMFG ! - needed a wetty for sure - jeezus its like being hit with an axe - maybe I will learn next outing !
