I was walking along Warringah Road and this was just sitting on the side of the footpath.

It was a bit mangy looking and the pin had ripped through the bottom but I took it home and hit it with a bit of 360 wet n dry and she cleaned up okay.

I think if I'm careful there will be enough room to drill another pin hole and I may give it a try.

Funny looking shape, may possibly be from a windsurfer, it's got the word "bombora" embossed on it along with 2 kangaroos and the height is around 9 inches.

It's a ****y hot pink colour but that don't bother me none, the missus always says I look like a kinky fat queer in my wetty anyway.

Yes a pink wetty with embroidered pale yellow bows, it's just fabulous.

Check out the Hammer side biters!

Bombora is windsurf. Just pop a new pin hole 10mm further forward !

The key is the flex pattern... Make sure it is pretty stiff... If it feels too flexy, sloppy, or has no recoil, just bin it ! Or keep it as a collectable !

It took me almost an hour of sanding to make it fit.

The pin was no problem but the front was thicker than the rear by maybe 0.5 mm.

It was as if the fin box should have been a V shape longitudinally.

Definitely not from a normal board.

I still may give it a go just for shiats and giggles.

If it doesnt work maybe sell it to Makaha - I hear he is fond of anything pink and 9 inches long.

Whilst on the fin topic - does anyone run a fatboy style fin and if so on what type of mal and how does it perform ? I have been running one on a fairly performance oriented mal and it seems to be a beautiful fin for turns and noseriding but very slow down the line ?(I guess not drivey enough) it maybe just me but interested to hear how they work for others. I am having a hell of a time getting the right fin for my mal and I have never ever had fin problems and usually don't give a rats about fins but this ones messing with me.

Makaha does exist. And so long as Makaha doesn't drift any further north than G/Point then Makaha will continue to exist. I think despite our history that we now have an understanding [}:)]

Yes I believe he has a nasty streak and only comes out to bluntly upset people.

However I know him to be a good type of bloke, but has the Mick Fanning Eugene split personality which only comes out after a few drinks

heading down to the draw shortly followed by many bundys at home watching the footy, same as you mac, wouldn't dare to call in as that nasty bruiser streak will come out of you after a few bundy's.when the crew get away for a trip somone had better bring some chains lock and key just in case shy mac goes over the top on bundy.
