For a 1 board quiver over 100kgs and av fitness what are you're recommendations in board size to handle say max head high waves but mainly waist to chest size.

"10' Modern Retro" for fat waves, its very wide like 24 1/8 with very little rocker, so heaps of glide. Otherwise boards can differ if the wave has push or has a steep sucky takeoff. I'd say something from CW according to Steve Del Rosso's recommedations for a custom based on your personal dimensions & where you surf. I'd now also say the Tolhurst webste is worth a look if you have some idea of what is good for you. Some interesting modern board construction tech for LB's and shape for steeper and or larger waves. More high performance orientated, but the same can be said for CW & SDR's team riders

For what it's worth I'd say a 9'10-10'. A whalebone from SDR or a board from RG designed to suit you. Based only on what I've ridden from both of them. I personally don't think you'd go wrong with the right design 10'er.

The right design will handle an overhead as well as a 1' LM, I'd still be sitting on the beach if it was a gnarly fast breaking beachy overhead though, wouldn't want to confuse ambition with capability (for me anyway).

Yeah, there's been a few large sessions at A, I'd like to refer to Obct and his opinion on one particular session but unfortunately he forgot his contact lenses on the day and was caught floundering around in the kiddy area.
