Singlet-top short leg wettie with a rashie under, keeps the back and chest warm but gives the shoulders some room.

If you get cold your not surfing hard enough, get into it

mate you would only need a 2mm jacket and boardies for a man that surfs your way.

2 long arm springies, ones warmer than the other, no I didn't buy 2 I actually found one and couldn't find the owner, yes i looked pretty hard,it was my size too and looked brand new

For the really cold days. I have a 3:2. Peak steamer . Top of the line job, Was expensive but this thing is like surfing with a blanket on. And the stretch neoprene makes it very comfy and can do a dawn surf in the middle of winter no problem at all.

But for Kadil, I'd be getting a vest or short John and you should be warm as. The long sleeve wetsuit tops are pretty good too if the water is warm and it just a cold breeze

I'm with boofy,I load wetsuits.I've got away with a few winters just boardies and 2mm jacket which is five years old and needs replacing and on those few mad cold days a short sleeve steamer which I hate, makes my as-e look big

Far out, you go for a walk, come back and there is a thread in your honor, with the best of the best contributing all the goods. What a great forum with an exceptional bunch of people.

On the flipside it shows that really does pay to hijack a deep and meanfull thread to get some attention[}:)]

Very jealous of you mainlanders . I've got a wardrobe full of wetsuits , between mine and the kids around 20 . At the moment surfing in booties , gloves , either a 4/3 or 3/2 full length , depending on the day may wear a thermal rashie under my wettie or lately have got a wetsuit hot pack gel . I reckon I will crack out the hood in the next few weeks .
Am considering getting a h- bomb heated wetsuit anyone tried them out ?sound great but are a bit expensive .
Surfing in boardies is a distant memory .

a serious question, do you guys put vaseline on your face in winter. i've heard of school kids in canada wearing it in outside winter playtime and channal swimmers grease up too

No Vaseline in our house Lacey . We did have a couple of tubes of KY not sure where they got to .seriously once you get the 1st cold flush through the wetsuit it's not too bad especially with the gel packs . Have got a few mates that wear heated vests reckon they are pretty good too .

If you want some free advice - don't do it. You will be itchy a few days later and hating life. Do it properly or not at all. Maybe Chrispy has some good tips for you

Okay, the thread has finally moved into an area that I can comment on from a position of experience and pain, the removal of unwanted hair.

My god plucking ear hair hurts

Now I know there'll be a quite a few ladies out there who'll be rolling their eyes and saying “pttf, men, they don't have any idea of pain or what we go through to keep legs and pubes neat and tidy just so that that don't get any errant hairs caught between their teeth” well big deal girls, this is my turn to cry, piss off.
