They tend to stay around BB's neck of the woods when it gets over 2 foot

There are only a very small handful of sup'ers where I surf and a couple of them are better surfers (on any board) than pretty much anybody on this forum (no, not me included)

Most (90%) of sup'ers surf at the Alley cos its generally a soft wave and the easiest paddle out on the goldy most days. It is very very rare that I surf or sup the alley, also because of the crowds but there is a particular day of the week that is generally very quiet and very sup/mal friendly. Its very rare that you will see me out on a sup when there are more than a couple of other sups out because as much as I love to sup I still think they can quickly fill up a lineup and I don't like being the centre of attention - whether it's good or bad attention. I probably sup 90% of the time nowdays because of my back but I still prefer to sup on beachies and away from others if possible. I will though surf the points on my sup (alley/greeny) when its tiny and too small for longboards and also if there are none or very few other sups out.
