Hi Guys, I've been reading a lot of the threads here and have gained some great information. I wanted to ask.. I'm looking to buy a McTavish Fireball, I've been talking to these guys;
http://www.surferschoice.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=ilvm_fly_showroom_mall.tpl&product_id=102&category_id=82&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41 - are these boards likely to be one of those Thai copies? Should i worry if it is?
Also, I'm 90kgs, been surfing for a year, and surf mostly beach breaks (1ft - 4ft) around the Central Coast NSW (Umina, Avoca etc)
Would a 9'2" Fireball be a good choice, or a McTavish Original perhaps? Lastly, I'm overcoming a bad shoulder injury and can barely paddle to save my life right now, I can
just get onto a wave with my 8' minimal but its dam hard work.

So I'm looking for something that is easy to paddle, but also has some turning ability.
Thanks,
Scott.
