I'm going back to the Fireball,this time the Evo II version.9.6 x 23 x 3.
The reason,08 rocker and going up the extra 3 inches and dropping
some thickness it will still have the volume I require. I'm really looking forward to this
one because the fireball was always the pick for me from 9.1 ,9.4 , 9.6 and 10 foot.
With a new plan shape and rocker I'm frothing for one.

That's funny!

Can shorten it to;

Get used to surfing one board... unless you want to make the walls in your house beautiful!

Maybe Mac could learn a little from those at Starboard and SIC. He could get SDR to shape him a nice high performance stick and then just put his sponsored McT decals / stickers on it to save face I bet he would not be the first person to do so........

My first mal - 9'6 2008 Fireball - unbelievable board - was actually my only board for a while. Finally moved it onto a mate who was die hard short boarder who wanted a mal to ride in summer...that was a year or so now, have not seen him on his shortboard in ages!

Speaking of Clearwater as well I just picked up a 7'4 funshape off Ebay - I remember back in the day when SDR was manning the shop at Secret Harbour everyone was raving about them, anyone got any persponal reviews? Looking forward to surfing it as soon as I can!

A newie decided on in less than 24hrs whats wrong with you bro?....I have to agonise over what I want for at least 6 months and 20+ trips around the surf shops of Torquay before I can make any sort of decision....there are 5 good surfshops in Torquay and I will visit them 20 times each so anything less than 100 visits is too hasty in my opinion

Tux if your referring to me,I've been playing around with a few boards over the last year different lengths and rocks slightly different plan shapes and have decided adding 3 inches in length dropping 1/8 thickness and a slight plan shape change,I'm 99.9% sure this will work for me and what I want out of this type of board,tip sometimes its best left to the experts and go off what they suggest and not what one thinks So in all its been a process.
