Had to make it 3 too hard to make it one , and 10 is to many

My number one by a long shot my Goddard Nimbus - great board , great service , great price .Still my favourite board and the one I grab when the conditions are perfect

Next favourite is my quicksilver heated vest . Let's me get out no matter how cold it is and still have a blast . And being a vest I can use it with whichever wetsuit I have in the car at the time .

Next is my Jimmy Lewis Striker . Reminds me a bit of my Nimbus And is a real longboard 666 rather then being an in between all rounder .Got to the nose 1 St ride - a rarity for me

1. Sweet Potato
2. Leg ropes - love them all as they save me swimming - presently in love with O&E
3. Sex Wax - The sticky cream that CMC put me on to - its amazing

Only been surfing a short time so not that many purchases so far

1. My first lesson.... gave me the bug and I have been hooked ever since. Can't believe it took me so long to try it.
2. Trigger Stubby.... amazing how much my surfing improved when learning on this compaired to the epoxy aircraft carrier I initially bought.
3. Sideways board bag.... super value for a 10mm padded bag.

3. The pie I had after my last surf, num yum yum.

my 3 favorite surf purchases would to be
1 crypt surfmat ,just such a random thing to ride, pure joy
2 patagonia r2 wettie thank f%^&** for someone making a good wettie
3 and lucky last is a tie my 5"10 swallow tail parkes kneelo and my 8"7 666 just because it keeps me sane

1. My 6'2 CI biscuit showed me that there is never a limit to how much you can improve given the right equipment
2. Ripcurl fireskin booties....numb toes suck
3. My imported ex Japanese firetruck that only had 10K on the clock...its a 1988 Nissan navara and runs like a dream....fits a million boards in the back and come ins funky red with genuine siren and light mounts

a 6'0 Force 9 thruster Wayne Roach made me in the mid 80's. Loved those early 80's thrusters
A Grant Miller 7'6 Powerglide that could nose ride and go good off the tail and so easy to ride
a 10 footer off Mark Rabbidge a few years back that sits waiting in my garage.
Theres been plenty of boards and I tend to forget about wetties.
Just got a 666 and the jury is still out on that purchase

Yeah, you've got an Original Gun Proto-type haven't you?
The G2 Gun, is indeed a Gun. Designed for decent quality large waves...
Can't say much about the Original Gun... But yours looks like a Semi-Gun. The template looks pretty friendly actually.

I'll start another thread for The Original, as McHenry just emailed me...

3 isn't enough, that doesn't even cover the last week.... i have had a mid winter shopping spree and acquired new fins, cover and a wettie....

despite the price tag of a new one I shelled out and got a creatures cover. Arrived on Monday, i unpacked it and thought that looks way too small but slid the board in and it fitted perfectly... finally a longboard cover that actually fits your board, not 3 inches to wide a few too long and loose as a hooker after the navy has been in town... This cover actually fits like a proper cover, great job creatures..... And they also make great leggies.

Have a 8 foot leggue for sake on ebay right now bidding us a 5 bucks. Used twice

I've had plenty, i think my favourites are

1. my first new board a peter Townsend tube shooter

2. my first custom a Hono /glen jones shaped board.

3. and a crystal cylinders Hawaiian shirt, they don't make shirts like that anymore

A board I bought off Flavio Padaratz's brother Neco in Margaret River in the early 90's. I only had 3 surfs on it, but it just felt so good from the first wave. Unfortunately I snapped it 1/2 way through the third session at Super Tubes on a late takeoff

A 6'8 Rick Jacko Alloy Joy steel stringer that was my all round board from about 1994 - 2004. Before that board I always snapped a board within a year. But this board that I still have today survived 4 years in Margs, a trip across Oz to a year in Apollo Bay & back to WA plus several trips to Bali. Its my memory stick relic

3rd not so much a particular board...I've had 7 boards in the last 2 years which is a lot for me...just experimenting with new shapes/designs of the wide variety. I've gone heaps shorter & wide, found them great in good conditions, but not versatile enough. Then gone really wide (21 3/4)..great in small stuff, but not high performance enough in over head. Have now gone 20' wide of the same length (6'4) & feeling like 6'2 x 20.5 or 20.75 is going to be the sweet spot & excited about giving that a go. Also got a mal almost 1yr ago for those small or fat days & loving that...so yeah...3rd not so much a particular board, but stoked with finally trying out some new designs that have enabled me to have a great time in a wider variety of conditions

Got to love a good leg rope Ted . My current favourite is a dakine , looks like it will last forever and nice and comfy .

Have an old O & E as my back up which I leave in the car , must be 10 years old and still going strong .

had one of those myself around 30 years ago , literally wore it till it fell to pieces , your right the surf shirts today are no comparison

Have you watched "going vertical " - left me with 2 lasting impressions 1 the American Brewer has the biggest ego I have ever seen

2 Bob McTavish is a very smart man and had a huge input into modern surfboard design
