Well Bazz - its really rather simple. The shoulder charge is against the rules of the game - whilst most other issues seem to be fine

I loved their statement
NRL Head of Integrity, Nick Weeks said the penalty relates to the following matters involving Norman:
• His conviction for drug possession at The Star casino
• A police warning for consorting with known criminals at the casino
• Filming incidents involving apparent drug use and sexual activity
• Distributing video of those incidents to other NRL players
So if you add all of that up and try and compare it to the Gudd case or the Mitchell Pearce incident it sure leaves me baffled. I really think they need to put together a solid independent panel for dealing with these issues - take it outside the club and the NRL. Sounds good I know but then it would be just like the bunker with another group of people to complain at. I think its fair to say that the NRL players are really probably past the point of help and we should just be thankful they only do stuff like this and not anything more damaging

If you compare the Norman incident to how the Swans dealt with their fella this week - its poles apart. I love the no dickhead policy. I have never been a fan of the Sharks (still not of that grub Gallen) but how good are they going since they admitted that they had a dickhead (Carney) in their team that needed to go - they have gone from strength to strength. Yes they were slow learners (getting rid of Bird etc) but at least they have seen some benefit since making some tough decisions.
Maybe Parra should do the same and complete the full cycle of cleaning up the crap.
