nice looking board Boofy!! Its a big board......until you line it up next to one of Big Spaz's I thought of you this weekend as I saw 5 different blokes on kneeboards...had a really good chat to a couple of them - both made their own boards! Some nice shapes and good surfers to boot as well.....the planshapes were similar to my Sweet Potato but the fins were a lot further forward. They looked like fun when it was clean and glassy but looked very tricky when the wave faces started to chop up.

It is a big board Ted but with the light glass job feels light and still fits under my arm no worries and will be ideal for paddling into fat greenmount waves. Yep my kneelos are as close to shortboarding as I am ever going to get I love them when its big and hollow and can still scare the living shiz out of myself.

Congratulations, an excellent board can't wait to hear a ride report

You're very lucky to have SDR do a board for you, I don't think he does them for everyone.

Boof just saw your board mate, it looks fantastic and I bet you will love it. Nothing quite like the feel of a 10ft single fin in my opinion. Of all my quiver I like your old redline the best. They just have a soulful feel about them, a throwback to the sixties. I hope this board helps you move on from the Redline lol

Really looking forward to your report on this one tassie. I know Simondo rides similar boards, but I get the impression he is a very good surfer and a cut above me (I hope that didnt come across as a slight, its not).

Ive thought of something similar for when it gets big and the mal is just too slow across the face of the wave. let us know how it goes.

Stuk finally took the original gun out for a blast . Taken a while been mostly riding the 666 s lately trying to get up some practice before the Tassie titles so I don't make too much of a dick of myself

TBH for the first half an hour on it I hated it . Was about to throw it back on the Kombi and jump back on the SUP . Then the tide changed and the waves jumped a foot and it was great . Very different to the Nimbus it lacks the straight line speed and glide of the Nimbus . Best way I can describe it is it's like riding a short board which is a longboard . lots of fun .
