as for the fire can bring a stainless drum with heaps of holes or a keg cut in half on legs, and some firewood of course, but there should be a pile of wood at Delicate knobby just in case.

I would get shot for pimping her on line - but given that no one really reads this stuff anyway I shall put a shot up - its an out of focus one on purpose!!! Its taken from the pavilion at Point Plomer when we were last there in late Feb. She is the one on the left.

Maybe an action shot from Plomer as well......also have chosen out of focus on purpose!!!

Speculation only, to far to predict but this is the long range for the end of next week

http://www.coastalwatch.com/swell/forecastMain.aspx?page=sfforecasts&location=20

The focus then shifts to a third, larger low pressure complex developing beneath the Great Australian Bight on Sunday and Monday. This system reactivates our swell window will a broad WNW fetch ahead of the low, tending WSW as it moves across our swell window on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Key model runs are in fair agreement on this; indicating another strong pulse of S groundswell will arrive across the NSW coast during Thursday and Friday - probably amounting to three to five feet across south facing coasts - but this will become clearer early next week.

Over the course of early to mid next week local winds fall under the influence of a large high pressure system building in across the south-east of the continent; probably maintaining light winds across the coast from Monday to Wednesday. At the same time the high will inevitably suppress further storm activity to the south, flowing through to an easing trend in S swell across the region from Wednesday to Friday next week.

Latest long range projections are now picking up a reactivation of our long range S swell window late next week. This revolves around a polar low moving beneath Tasmania on Friday and Saturday; speculatively setting up a new round of mid range S groundswell for the NSW coast from Monday 4 to Wednesday 6 June. This will become clearer in Monday's update.

it's not a track from crescent, dedicated dirt road with some tar half way along, just corrugations from big hill onwards to plommer ,the fun begins after plommer..any sedan will get to plommer,i will probaby flash up thurs arvo/night and maybe friday night having said that if it is raining i will be at home resplendent in my best obct inspired satin sequined pyjamas on the lounge watching glee!
the target banana lounge with the blue deluxe car to ground tarp camping array is not particularly waterproof
beaches look the goods for fishing holes and there still is quite a bit of driftwood around on the beach south of plommer
here hoping that low forms in front of the north island of NZ rather than behind it!
actually (no offense TED but the surf in the pacific would be a truck load better if NZ was moved 5000km north )

yes I agree! In surf terms you have the great blocking highs like we have at the moment but we also have far too many NZ blocking lows!!!!!! I guess if NZ was to move further north we all would have stayed there as it would be a hell of a lot warmer

Hey LFish as Prawnhead has mentioned its a road from Crescent - just can have a few pit holes and corrugations on it - so just take it easy.

Sniff, sniff , I'm so proud sniff I've inspired a SBder to embrace his feminine side, sniff.

My work here is done,  I'll be retiring now, it's been just too much for me, I'm simply drained.

Just the thought of those loverly satin jimmyjams brings a tear to this old amateur satirist eyes sniff
