Another nail-biter finish to that heat... Final Hooter has gone, but scores have yet to drop...

my little grom cuz was down there getting his board signed by all the big names. Saw some photo's of him and Kelly, big smiles on the little fella.

Most of the girls moved onto their longer step-up boards by the end of the day.
So for them, they were on longboards!

I think one of the girls step-up boards might have been a 5'10.
Stepping-up from a 5'8.

Its going to be hard for Steph to reel in the pack this year,some of those girls are on fire,I just wish Tyler Wright would speak like an professional during post heat interviews she has turned me right off with here mouth.

It's not miss universe. Didn't see it ,did she F bomb?

Tyler surfs good.... Must be hard being the third best surfer in the family.




But your right going to be hard for Steph, carissa Moore is surfing really good 2 but I still reckon she will be close.

They must think there's a million lurkers on seabreeze,anyone with half a brain will know where to go when its on,I suggested that sending a fellow forum member a PM with a tip, so its kept out of sight from the million lurkers.We just don't have any secret places here,maybe there are some in WA,but its funny how they protect locations.

we do have places here mac. 30 ks off beach and heaps of closeouts. did not find a bank today. yet there are many a time where crew cannot find ****....but i do.
you are right though. they way more coastline with less people and still wanna be mental about. i like sharing waves with my mates. cant beat it actually

I really shouldn't care but i just don't see the point of jumping in just to be negative, we have enough issues in life to worry about secret waves, or the effort to keep them secret

I think those negatives are keeping the SB room down in numbers and thats the shame for me..I think its time for the mods to start doing there job instead of just letting it all go south.

I surf on my own so many times i really don't totally mind crowds. But i think its funny when a surfer turns up at Perth's busiest beach on a weekend and then blames the Internet for the crowds

perfect waves for a longboard comp

missed most of the comp so just sat through the heat analyser and was amazed at what I saw....

1. Slaters back looks bad
2. Unlucky - who gets 2 9's and a 10 and loses a heat - wow.
3. I thought his 10 was over scored though as did Occy
4. I loved Occ's commentary....don't do a Slater and go the tube...
5. loved it more when he said of the young brazo...floaters are so old school and boring then 1/2 a second later after witnessing his next move he was calling it the best ever! Classic Occ - could listen to him all day long.
6. Who the hell is this latest freak Filipe Toledo - he is going places in a hurry. If you have not seen him surf - check his heats out on the heat analyser - insane!!!
7. Hope he wins.
8. Carissa Moore - well done to you! Some of your bottom turn / top turn combo's were almost Parko like - you have super duper style.
9. Hope the swell kicks as I was a little disappointed with the waves to be honest.
10. I also thought generally speaking people were getting scored far too easily across the board.

yes - Seabreeze Greenroom is the SHIZZ

I can't believe they havn't moved it to Winki....in the arvo when the tide has been up Winki has been smoking while the pros are battling it out at shifty Rincon.....easter crowds were rediculous until Sunday when it got big and surfed with only 6 other blokes.....go Jordy Smith that dude has bell ringer written all over his surfing
