Seabreeze Torquay Weekend hasn't happened yet!

My mate told me about the 5L Heineken Kegs, and tells me that the kegs are the real deal from Holland. And it's true, it's the real deal. It's not a bad drop either. Not the "brewed under license" stuff. It's "engineered" to last for 30 days after you pop the keg. But my mate had half a keg on the shelf at room temperature for 9 months, and accidently forgot about it. Put it back in the fridge, and he said was still perfect.

Kind of fun pulling a draught beer on tap at home too!

The bundy bit was just to Mac's attention!

We could all learn a lot from real estate sales people.

“Handyman's dream” – A termite infested load of crap that's about to fall apart and is held together with a single rusty nail.

“Open Plan Living' - The last tenant was a biky gang and they ripped out all the walls to make a bigger meth lab.

“Ocean Glimpses” – right on high tide at 2 king tides per year, if you stand tippy toe on the dunny seat and look out the top left hand corner of the bathroom window, you may be lucky enough to see the last bit of a wave break on the sand. Provided there happens to be a decent swell that day.

Im not really that good of a salesman, cuts out the bool shiz. I sold a Rusty at the start of the year, started out at $350 and sold it for $300 and it was in good condition. I recon if I had of put $400 NO OFFERS it sill would have sold.

Live and learn

I assume you're a Natural Footer!? You'll love the right hand points. Hopefully there are some fun 2 footers for you. Even a shoulder high 2 footer at Winki will stay with you for life!

I've had some of my best waves at Winki on the Yellow McTavish Rincon '68 actually. That thing is a point break specialist. 7'10 without the McTavish Hips. I spoke to Bob about the board, and he said he glassed it light (but still gloss), and it was hand shaped by him as a "Step-Up" for solid waves. The boys were all happy that it ended up somewhere with good point breaks.

If it was a rounded pin it would be perfect, i still like it but on boards that big Im not that keen on a square tail even tho its a small square.

If you did the "Blind Fold Test", you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a Rounded Pin, and Squash Tail. It's technically a Squash, not a Rounded Square. Very skinny tail for a rounded square.

3" to 3"1/4 tail, and at 2" in, it is only 5"3/4, which is pretty skinny.

Tom Curren's Bells Beach Black Beauty was a rounded pin, but was also 5"3/4 at 2 inches in.

It was a board from 1985. Not sure if the original board exists anywhere. "Was" was in reference to the original 1985 board. Comprende?

That was the lower end of Lowers on a smallish day.

Lower Lowers is like Greenmount, and Uppers is like Snapper. Lowers is like Little Marley.

looks scrumptious.

I like lamb, maybe more than steak.

I've got very pedestrian tastes, one of my fav meals is a simple grilled lamb chops and 3 veg with a bit of gravy. Especially if the gravy is made with the drippings from the base of the griller.

Don't even mind if it's been through a thermo nuclear reaction and the fat is all crispy, I always eat the lamb fat when it's burnt.

My missus hates to cook and she's a picky eater and it's not the sort of meal you would do just for yourself so we'd probably lucky only have it 6 time a year at the most.

I don't know what it would do for my cholesterol levels but then I've never had a reading above 2.7 in my life. I think I'm just one of those people who's got naturally low levels.

Cool looking oven behind that roast in the pic, bet she make a good pizza.

Hey Bulldog - that looks sensational!!!!!!! You have served the national dish perfectly.....was it still slightly pink inside? Hope so........I love the look of yr trolley setup. I think I need to get on to sometihng like that myself.

Have you tried smoking it at the start with some hickory wood chips soaked in red wine for 30 mins? It's a great trick!
