Yeah would be keen to learn more. EPS foam or PU? What sort of weight is it compared to one of standard shapes - 10-20% lighter? What do those rails look like - much of an edge or rolled?

Any update reviews on how the wombats go? Has anyone ridden one as a quad?

Haven't really given mine a great lot of use, had a few surfs on it but been liking another board due to my lack of fitness over summer and the volume in it.

Enjoyed the few surfs i have had on it and will probably be the go to when we head back into some decent waves.

Havent run mine as a quad but i did with my previous board that was pretty similar and i went back to a 2+1 in it, m3 side and a 7' in the middle. Seemed to get just as much speed and turned a bit better but that could just be just me.

In the Wombat, i have just been running some carbon 5s as sides and a 6.5 centre.

Be good to hear what other fins people have used.

If you want to try this fin set up this works great for me. Lots of drive while being loose off the tail.
Twin fins and small trailers in the rear boxes.

I found the DVS quad set up the best after 4 previous sets were not working..

Others commented that they didn't like them but worked great for me..made my 8' like a shorty..
